Thomas Gregory

Thomas GregoryOur conductor Thomas Gregory studied cello at the Guildhall School of Music in London before receiving a scholarship to continue his studies in the US where he lived for four years.  His performing career has lead to numerous concertos and recitals in the UK and abroad.  Aside from a busy playing and ensemble direction schedule, Thomas is much in demand for his composition and arranging skills.  He is also the creator of the popular series of beginner books for string players called Vamoosh.

Abigail Dance

Abigail DanceAbigail studied music at Goldsmith’s College London before completing her post graduate studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music studying violin with John Stein. Between 2008 and 2009 Abigail was string fellow at the London College of Music. She has given solo and chamber music recitals throughout the UK as well as France, Canada, Italy and the Czech Repulic, winning a number of prizes for solo and chamber music performance. During the last year Abigail has performed concerti by Mozart, Bruch, Bach, Mendelssohn and Malcolm Arnold with orchestra. Abigail is currently working as a freelance violinist and violist playing with a number of chamber ensembles, orchestras and with duo partner Anna Tetsuya. She also performs and records with a number of pop and jazz artists and is a member of the all female Benzaiten ensemble. Since 2009 Abigail has been an upper strings teacher with In Harmony Sistema England (Lambeth), and recently travelled to Sri Lanka to help establish a similar project there. Abigail is the co-founder of the Chamber Academy Orchestra, and is leader of the Angel Orchestra and Collide-o-scope contemporary music ensemble London.
